Welcome to the Edwards genealogy and Edwards family history of Virginia website! This website is dedicated to all of the descendants of William and Margaret Edwards, our oldest known Edwards ancestors. William Edwards came to Charles City County, Virginia in 1653 and married Margaret, the widow of William Stadword, prior to 1659.
